Wildfires fueled by powerful Santa Ana winds have continued to rage in the Los Angeles area, leaving five people dead, 2,000 structures in Pacific Palisades and Altadena destroyed and more than 100,000 people under evacuation orders.

LA’s celebrity enclaves, including Santa Monica and Calabasas, were engulfed in flames, prompting famous personalities to evacuate their homes amidst one of the most destructive wildfires in California history.

Gov. Gavin Newsom deployed over 1,400 firefighters, and in a rare plea, the Los Angeles Fire Department has urged all off-duty firefighters to help battle the multiple fires.
